Cancellation & Deposit Policy

Cancellation, authorization-release, settlement, and capacity-release rules for booking requests and confirmed bookings.

Applicable legal rights

The self-service deadlines in this policy describe BC Snow Tuning's booking cancellation process. They do not limit any cancellation, refund, or other rights available under applicable law.

Before confirmation

An eligible requested booking may be cancelled through secure booking status. You may decline proposed material changes or ask to correct details. Any required authorization release or payment settlement uses the existing safe workflow; reserved capacity is released when cancellation completes.

After confirmation

Once the owner confirms unchanged accepted terms, or revised terms have been explicitly accepted and the booking is confirmed, the existing eligible pre-pickup cancellation-request workflow applies. A submitted cancellation request requires owner review and does not itself create a cancellation or refund.

Deadline for accepting booking changes

Please accept revised terms by the exact deadline shown with the offer. The default deadline is two hours before the start of the handoff or pickup window, in America/Toronto time.

If we do not receive your acceptance by the stated deadline, the booking may be cancelled. Silence is not acceptance. Cancellation uses the safe payment-cleanup process; any required authorization release, refund or reconciliation must be resolved before cancellation is shown as complete.

If that deadline has already passed, contact BC Snow Tuning to discuss the arrangements. We will not issue an automatic approval request with an impossible deadline. Nothing in this process limits applicable legal cancellation or refund rights.

After pickup

Self-service cancellation is unavailable after pickup. Use the Contact page for cancellation or booking-change questions. Owner settlement, refund, and cancellation controls remain subject to the booking and payment records.

Captured and offline payments

Captured card payments and cash or Interac records use the owner settlement workflow. Stripe refunds may be partial or full, cannot exceed the refundable card balance, and are not complete until reconciled. Cash and Interac corrections use append-only reversal records.

Next-day and booking changes

If an accepted next-day request cannot be honoured, the booking must be rejected, cancelled, or rebooked with the customer's agreement. Price increases and material booking changes require the applicable fresh customer approval.
